The inaugural Dine with Simon Wood event took place at the Oldham Event Centre on Friday evening.
Friday saw the newly opened Oldham Event Centre host its first Dine with Simon Wood evening in the Broadway suite.
The 60 attendees, who had travelled from around the country, were treated to a champagne drinks reception on arrival and sampled canapés as they settled into the evening.
As guests took their seats, Simon took to the stage to talk through the menu and some of the inspirations behind his dishes.
A seven-course dining experience followed courtesy of Simon, his kitchen staff and the exceptional service team.
Guests enjoyed some of Simon’s MasterChef winning dishes including Harissa-glazed aubergine, 18 hour 82 degrees slow cooked pork belly and oven roasted butter cod before finishing off the night with coffees.
Simon then appeared at the end of the night, mingling with guests, posing for pictures and answering any questions.
The feedback from the night has been really positive with guests taking to social media to praise the evening.

The next Dine with Simon Wood event in February is sold out, but the Oldham Event Centre will be revealing more dates tomorrow afternoon.
