Philip Gibbs will be the man in charge of the local derby clash with Bury on Saturday.
In his nine games in charge this season, Gibbs has handed out 27 yellow cards and two reds.
Ironically, the last time Gibbs officiated a Latics game was against Bury in 2013, where a Matt Smith goal in the final 10 minutes of the game was enough to win the game and help keep the club in Sky Bet League One.
Graeme Fyvie and Robert Atkin will assist the referee whilst Duncan Street will be Saturday’s fourth official.
