As a mark of respect to the late Jimmy Frizzell, the club will close at 1pm on Friday, July 22 to allow players and club staff to attend the funeral.
Jimmy’s funeral will be held at 2pm on Friday, July 22 at St Anne’s Church, Royton, Oldham, OL2 5LB (at the end of Broadway).
This will be followed by a cremation at Oldham Crematorium, Hollinwood Cemetery, Roman Road, Oldham, OL8 3LU at 3.30pm.
As a mark of respect, Oldham Athletic Football Club will close at 1pm, with club representatives walking the short distance to the church.
Supporters and mourners are welcome to use the club’s main car park should they wish.
