Central defender Cameron Burgess has joined the club on loan until January 5, 2017 from Championship side Fulham.
The young defender, who has been capped seven times at under 23 level by Australia, joins Steve Robinson’s squad and becomes the 10th signing of the summer.Burgess enjoyed a successful loan spell with Cheltenham Town last season where he helped guide the club to the National League title.
The gaffer was delighted to get Burgess through the door at SportsDirect.com Park.
He said: “Cameron is a left sided centre half who will give us a lot of physique and experience.
“He has a big presence, he’s left footed and will provide good competition at the back.”
Burgess is eligible for the EFL Cup competition and is available to feature in tomorrow night’s friendly against Preston North End (7pm kick off).
