Experienced midfielder Paul Green has penned a one-year contract with Oldham Athletic.
Green has recently been on trial with the club and played 70 minutes in Tuesday night’s friendly against Wigan Athletic.The 33-year-old started his career with Doncaster Rovers where he made over 250 appearances, scoring 33 goals.
He then joined Derby County where he spent four seasons before spells with fellow Championship sides Leeds United, Ipswich Town and Rotherham United.
Green also has international experience, representing the Republic of Ireland on 20 occasions, scoring one goal in a friendly against Algeria in 2010.
Green will wear the number 28 shirt during his stay with the football club.
