On loan midfielder Matty Palmer is the winner of the Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre Player of the Month for February.
The Burton Albion loanee received 64% of the votes beating off competition from defender Tim Dieng and striker Aaron Amadi-Holloway.Palmer has become a fans favourite since his loan move and assisted three goal during the month.
He provided the cross for Dieng’s header against Gillingham, whilst he also won the penalty against Peterborough United as Latics went on to win 2-1.
His final assist of the month came against Scunthorpe United as he pulled the ball back for Danny Lafferty to finish into the bottom corner.
