Geoff Eltringham will be the man in charge of Saturday’s Sky Bet League One clash against Burton Albion.
In his 32 games in charge this season, Eltringham has handed out 82 yellow cards and seven reds.
The referee last officiated Latics earlier this season in the 4-2 home defeat to Scunthorpe United.
Peter Wright and Paul Hodskinson will assist the referee whilst Carl Boyeson will be Saturday’s fourth official.
