Oldham Athletic Community Trust’s Grassroots Day

Oldham Athletic Community Trust are looking for local grassroot clubs to be a part of the first ever Oldham Athletic grassroots day.

The grassroots day will be on Saturday, April 23 as Latics face Crewe Alexandra, 3pm kick off. 

The day is an opportunity for clubs to come to Park, enjoy the facilities within the newly revamped Family & Community section and to cheer on the club.

As part of the day: 

• Each club will have the opportunity to have a squad photograph feature in the match day programme on the Community Trust page
• Each club will have the opportunity to come in full team kit and represent their club within the Family & Community Section
• One club will be chosen at random to win a signed Oldham Athletic football for their club
• One club will be chosen at random to be the first JD Williams Team Of The Week for the 2016/2017 season

The ticket offer is limited, with a minimum order of 10 and a maximum order of 30 (junior complimentary tickets) per club. 

Each complimentary child ticket must be sold with an accompanying half-price adult ticket with each club nominating one person to be in sole charge of the bookings on behalf of that club. 

The Community Trust only have a limited number of tickets for the day and once the allocation has been sold unfortunately no more will be available.

Martin Vose, OACT Community Manager added: “I would like to thank the football club for supporting this initiative, without their involvement it wouldn’t be possible. 

“The grassroots day is all about getting local teams to come down to Park and to celebrate how successful grassroots football is in Oldham. 

“We would love to see hundreds of children at the fixture all in their team’s kit creating a fantastic atmosphere.”

The grassroots day is limited to those teams currently playing U11s football and below.
