Manager John Sheridan has added Charlton Athletic full back Tareiq Holmes-Dennis to his squad on a youth loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old has made 12 appearances for the Addicks since signing professionally with the club in 2013.
He has enjoyed loan spells with Oxford United where he made 17 appearances and Plymouth Argyle where he played under Sheridan.
The left-sided player helped the gaffer reach the play-offs last season but they were defeated by Wycombe Wanderers in the semi-final.
Speaking about his arrival, the manager was delighted to secure the services of Holmes-Dennis until the end of the season.
He said: “I really like him as a player and he did really well for me at Plymouth. He is a young, very energetic and I just felt we needed a bit of strengthening down the left side.
“I’ve only got two left footers in Joseph Mills and Jonathan Forte so I wanted a bit more balance. He can play full back or further up so I’m pleased to get him.”
Holmes-Dennis will wear the number 17 shirt during his time with the club.
