Oldham are two points off safety after drawing 1-1 with Port Vale at the weekend thanks to a second-half strike from Liam Kelly.
With Blackpool sitting one point above the Latics, a win against Sheffield United would take Oldham out of the relegation zone if Blackpool do not get a result against Coventry.
Oldham have managed to score in their previous four league games and will fancy their chances against 12th-placed United who haven't won in three. Sky Bet have priced an Oldham win at 3/1.
In the reverse fixture back in October the game ended all square at one apiece, the same score line for this weekend's game is at 5/1.
Given that Oldham have scored five of their last six goals after half-time and the Blades have been struggling for goals of late, it's also worth looking at a goalless first half which can be backed at 13/8.
