Fans Forum Event A Success

30 November 2016

Supporters had the chance to pose their questions to manager Stephen Robinson, captain Peter Clarke and chief executive Mark Moisley last night at the club’s Fans Forum event.

In an open and honest evening, over 50 fans attended the event which was held in the Oldham Event Centre.

Speaking about the night, chief executive Moisley said: “Thank you to all the fans who attended last night’s fans forum.

“It was a great opportunity for them to meet the manager and skipper and both enjoyed fielding the range of questions which were asked.

“We look forward to the next event which will take place towards the end of the season. Full details will be released in due course.”

Manager Robinson added: "It was a very good event and it’s always good to meet the fans because they are the lifeblood of the club.

“The fans have been some tough times, including this season, but they have been superb towards me and the boys.

“The fans can drive the club forward and there was a lot of positivity in the room yesterday and it was brilliant to see.

“Somebody said to me, instead of proving people wrong, why don’t you prove people right so that’s what we are going to do because the vast majority of fans think we have a decent squad and have belief in what we are doing.

“I thought it was a brilliant thing to say so I’ve told the boys to prove people right and that’s what we aim to do.”
