LOAN WATCH: Round Up

18 October 2016

Jamie Stott played the full 90 minutes as he helped his Curzon Ashton side reach the first round of the Emirates FA Cup last night.

After Saturday’s 1-1 draw against York City at Bootham Cresent, which Stott again played the full game, the game had to be replayed at the Tameside Stadium.

And after falling a goal behind early into the game, Stott helped his side turn the game around as they reached the first round of the FA Cup to set up an away tie against Westfields.

Kallum Mantack’s Alfreton Town side remain in the hat but will replay against Gateshead tomorrow night after drawing 2-2 at the Impact Arena.

The young winger played the full game as his side took a two goal lead but the visitors scored two in the final 15 minutes to take the game to a replay.

Young defender George Edmundson did not feature as permission was refused for this cup tie.
