On Friday, Marc Klok, Ousmane Fane and Charles Dunne were at Tesco Chadderton to help launch FIFA 17 which was released last week.
Fans had their chance to test themselves against the professional footballers in an afternoon enjoyed by all.The players were also on hand to pose for pictures, sign autographs and give out complimentary tickets for Saturday’s game against MK Dons.
Community manager Martin Vose said: ““Friday’s event was the perfect example of how we as a Community Trust want to work alongside the football club in building relationships with local partners such as Tesco to assist us in our community work.
“The event was a huge success in engaging with members of the local community and proved to be an effective way for both existing and hopefully new Oldham Athletic supporters to meet and integrate with some of the Oldham Athletic players.
“Alongside our traditional community visits we hope different events, such as this one, will be a more regular occurrence throughout the season.
“Thank you to Tesco for their support of the visit and also their support for ongoing projects such as our Take A Break sessions.”
