It was celebration time for the dancers of the “Street Jammers” dance group this week as they celebrated the individual achievements of the dancers at a celebration evening.
The first ever celebration evening for the group saw over 100 people attend and with nine awards in total up for grabs it was an evening filled with achievements.
The categories and winners were:

Samantha O’Mara, Oldham Athletic Community Trust Coach, commented: “The celebration evening was a fantastic way to thank all the children and their parents for the commitment and support over the previous 12 months.
“I’d like to say a huge well done to all of the dancers as well as our coaches Cole Carrington and Jessica Kempster for everything they have done over the previous 12 months.”
For only £10 per month you can join the Street Jammers group who train weekly at The Oldham Academy North Dance Studio and perform on the pitch prior to Oldham Athletic home games as well as at various community events throughout the year.
The group is split into two groups with the training times:
6pm-7:30pm - Primary session
7:30pm – 9pm - Secondary Session
