Ollie Banks’ strike against Carlisle United to put Oldham Athletic 4-3 ahead is the winner of the Oldham College Goal of the Month for August.
Banks won the award with 63% of the votes ahead of second-placed Ryan Flynn whose solo goal against Wigan Athletic earned 26% of the votes.The midfielder initially struck the wall from a free kick 25 yards out, but from the rebound, he volleyed into the far corner, going in off the post and it’s the winner of the August Goal of the Month.
