Oldham Athletic youth team face Rotherham at the club’s Chapel Road training ground on Saturday, September 17 (11am kick off).
Rotherham sit a point behind Tony Philliskirk’s side and he knows it will be a tough encounter.
He said: "They are a good team. We played them last year and drew at our place late in the season. We had a young team out and I think Rotherham deserved to win the game if I’m being honest.
"Rotherham are a big strong team so we know we will have the physicality aspect we will have to deal with again which is something which has let us down over the last couple of weeks.
“We are under no illusions it will be a tough game but the lads have trained hard and with a lot of intensity to hopefully we will take that into the game on Saturday.”
