Oldham Athletic are delighted to retain their Family Excellence award for the second consecutive year.
Created in 2007, the EFL Family Excellence Award recognises the outstanding experience provided by clubs for young fans and families, as well as their efforts to enhance the match day experience.
This is the second year in succession Oldham Athletic have achieved the award and Latics have been recognised for offering superb entertainment for families at SportsDirect.com Park throughout the 2016/17 season.
The club also demonstrated their commitment to engaging with young fans and families through such initiatives as our junior takeover and bench buddy scheme.
Speaking about the award, operations manager Wendy Noble said: “It’s great to be recognised for the award as we work really hard as a club to include everyone and make everything we do family-led and community focused.”
Chief executive Mark Moisley added: “This a terrific achievement again for the club and recognition of the hard work done by Wendy and the team.
"They have made fantastic progress over the last two years in the matchday offering for families and we will again be supporting this next season with free season tickets for under 12s.”
