The new season is back and today Oldham Athletic Community Trust would like to welcome the first JD Williams Team Of The Week Chadderton FC Juniors U9 Stripes.
Chadderton FC Juniors Under 9 "Stripes". Chadderton FC Juniors has now merged with Chadderton FC, based on Broadway.
They provide children of all age groups, backgrounds and gender from the local community with a safe but challenging environment in which to train and play football, this provides a seamless route into semi-professional football.
The club organise teams from the Under 7 to Under 16 age groups and are always looking to involve more children. Our soccer school for younger boys and girls takes place every Sunday morning at 11am on Clayton Fields.

The U9 "Stripes" have been together for 18 months now and are coached by dad’s Pete Connolly and Damion Shaw who are both FA Level 1 qualified.
They are members of the East Manchester Junior Football League and are sponsored by Piling Personnel Limited, based in Chadderton.
The boys: Bailey, Tom, Ryan, Ben, Ibrahim, Jude, Elijah, Fatai and Arsalan have recently been joined by Billie and Hadiur as they move from a five a side format to seven a side.
Training is on Wednesday nights and are currently playing in a summer league on Saturday mornings to prepare for the new league format starting in September. Last season was the first full season and the boys made excellent progress.
Unfortunately they didn’t get any breaks in the cup competitions, so didn’t match our achievement of winning a cup at our first attempt in the U7 age group.
The did win all 13 games in the U8 division after Christmas, achieving promotion for the first time.
This is 2nd attempt to be the JD Williams Team of the Week, the first being unfortunately cancalled last season due to the bad weather as Oldham faced Millwall.
Chadderton FC would like to thank Oldham Athletic for another chance to have such a memorable opportunity.
Hopefully they will bring good luck and will be celebrating 3 points at the end of the afternoon.
