Oldham Athletic supporter Dennis Hynes will walk 27 miles in September to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Dennis, who has been a season ticket holder at the club for many years, is taking on the Peak District Mighty Hike as he walks from Ashbourne to Buxton.
Bella, his dog, who is pictured with captain Peter Clarke, will support him in his journey.
Dennis has already raised his target of £250 but is hoping to raise a lot more money to help a charity close to his heart.
