Oldham Athletic Academy Manager Tony Philliskirk has expressed his disappointment after the 3-1 defeat at Notts County on Saturday.
He said: "I was very disappointed. We were probably a bit lacklustre in the way we played and second best in both boxes which is something I’ve commented on before.
"We played some lovely stuff in-between, with set-pieces we had over 20 quality balls into the oppositions penalty box and of them, we won one which was in the 89th minute and as a result of that we scored a goal.
"Prior to our goal we had no one with the drive and determination to get on the end of them quality crosses.
"At the other end we have just been making horrendous defensive mistakes recently which have been costing us goals."
