Today Oldham Athletic Community Trust would like to welcome Whitworth Valley U11’s to SportsDirect.com Park as the team are the JD Williams Team Of The Week for this fixture.
Whitworth Valley FC are a charter standard club which compete in the Lancashire Amateur League. The adult section of the club consists of two open age sides with a thriving junior section offering football opportunities for children U6 right through to the open age game.
Whitworth Valley U11s
Whitworth Valley U11’s currently play in the North Bury League and are extremely excited for the new season. From this season they will, for the first time, be playing 9v9 football that promises to be a challenge but one that everyone looks forward to and is relishing.
The Whitworth Valley U11 team have, for the majority, been together from the early age groups. The squad togetherness is a huge part of the team with an emphasis on development placed ahead of winning at all costs.
Last season the team enjoyed a successful cup run making the semi-finals.
