Oldham Athletic winger Gevaro Nepomuceno says the team continues to be full of confidence after Saturday’s emphatic 5-1 win over Northampton Town.
The Curaçao international scored his first goal for the club when he followed up Eoin Doyle’s chip over the keeper.
On the match, he said: “I’m happy for the team, for myself and the fans that we won again and got three points.
“Of course it was my goal, I saw Doyle chipped the keeper but it was too short, I was between two defenders and just tapped it in.
“Before today’s game and the five goals we were already confident so I think we will have more and more confidence now.
“If you see from outside, we are a great team and I am happy with the team and everybody.”
Despite the temperature dropping on Saturday, Nepomuceno said he enjoyed playing at Ice Station Zebra.
“It was really cold and I didn’t feel my fingers, that’s why in the second half I started to play with gloves.”
