The JD Williams Team Of The Week is back this afternoon and Oldham Athletic Community Trust would today like to welcome Chadderton FC Juniors Under 8 Stripes.
Here is a little more information about the team, Chadderton FC Juniors Under 8 "Stripes".Chadderton FC Juniors provides children of all age groups, backgrounds and gender from the local community with a safe but challenging environment in which to train and play football.

The Juniors have recently merged with Chadderton FC, based at the Ark Fleetech Stadium on Broadway, providing a seamless route from soccer school through to semi professional football.
Their most famous player being ex England international David Platt.
The Under 8 "Stripes" are one of 3 teams of that age within the junior section who have a total of 15 teams in the Under 7 to Under 16 age groups.
The soccer school for younger boys and girls takes place every Sunday morning at the Chadderton FC Stadium at 11am.
The "Stripes" play in the East Manchester Junior League on Saturday mornings. They have been together for 12 months now and are coached by dad’s Pete Connolly and Damion Shaw who are both FA Level 1 qualified.
In this time they have made steady progress, winning their first cup at the end of last season. They are unbeaten in their division since Christmas and are hoping to repeat last years success.
All the boys : - Bailey, Tom, Ryan, Ben, Ibrahim, Jude, Fatai and Arsalan have been looking forward to today and wish to thank Oldham Athletic AFC for the chance to have such a memorable opportunity. Hopefully we will bring good luck and will be celebrating 3 points for Oldham at the end of the afternoon.
