Ben Toner will be the man in charge of Saturday’s game against Coventry City.
In his 27 games in charge this season, Toner has hand rout 89 yellow cards and three reds.
The referee last officiated Latics in the 1-0 win over Walsall at the end of last season.
Ricky Wootton and Graeme Fyvie will assist the referee whilst Michael Salisbury will be Saturday’s fourth official.
