The Oldham Athletic youth team face a long trip to Chesterfield on Saturday morning looking to maintain their winning streak and extend their lead at the top of the league.
Tony Philliskirk's men have won 10 games in a row which has propelled them to the top of the Youth Alliance East division but he knows Chesterfield will be a tough test for his players.
"We managed to get an equaliser in the last minute of the game. They've got a lad upfront Ricky German who has had first team involvement and he is a handful.
"They beat us 2-0 last season and he scored both goals and we struggled to handle him so we're under no illusions that it is going to be a tough game.
"The boys have got the bit between their teeth at the moment and showing effort and commitment in abundance so long may that continue."
