Nigel Miller will be the man in charge of Saturday’s Sky Bet League One game against Bradford City.
In his 24 games in charge this season, Miller has handed out 46 yellow cards and six reds.
The referee last officiated Latics in the 1-3 away win against Walsall in the Checkatrade Trophy earlier in the season.
Paul Hobday and Mark Griffiths will assist the referee whilst Peter Wright will be Saturday’s fourth official.
