The new year has seen a number of changes in the offices at Oldham Athletic.
Gordon Lawton, who has served the club for over 30 years, has moved from his role as Publishing and Media Manager to become the club’s new Football Secretary, following the departure of Tanya Blakey.
Starting in 1986, Gordon has done almost every job in the club, including working in the media, commercial and tannoy announcer and now starts his new role as Football Secretary.
As Gordon changes roles, Luke Ingram will become the main point of contact for all media enquiries, and a new Media Executive will be brought in to support him.
The club are also currently recruiting for a new Head of Commercial and hope to be able to announce the successful applicant next week.
