Oldham Athletic are delighted to announce the loan signing of fans’ favourite, Chris Taylor.
Taylor joins the club on loan from fellow Sky Bet League One side Bolton Wanderers until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old returns to his roots after coming through the youth system at Oldham Athletic.
The winger played over 250 games for the club and scored 35 goals in a seven year spell between 2005-12.
Taylor played under manager John Sheridan during his first spell with the club and the gaffer was delighted to secure his services.
He said: “I’m very pleased to get Chris, I know him and he knows me and he knows the way I work so I’m chuffed to bits to get him.
“He will be a big player for us to try and stay in this league. It is good that Chris knows the place and hopefully he will come in and perform like I know he can.
“Hopefully he will be a big player for us between now and the end of the season.”
