Thank You To All Supporters For Last Night’s Game Against Peterborough United

25 January 2017

A massive thank you to all 7,224 supporters who attended last night’s 2-0 home victory against Peterborough United.

Paul Green’s second half penalty sent Latics on their way to victory whilst Ryan McLaughlin added the second 10 minutes from time after great work from Aaron Amadi-Holloway.

That win put Latics within touching distance of getting out of the bottom four and the bumper crowd really played their part in last night’s fixture.

From start to finish, the supporters sang their hearts out, got behind the lads and it made for a great atmosphere inside Park.

Chief executive Mark Moisley said: “It was great to see so many fans playing their part last night and cheering us on to three points.

“We now really look forward to Saturday for the visit of Bradford City who will bring a large support so it would be great to see all four stands rocking this weekend.”
