First half goals from a trialist and Tope Obadeyi gave Latics a 2-0 lead at half time.
On 52 minutes, Ousmane Fane's long range effort found the back of the net. Stalybridge pulled one back before Dan Gardner, who played the second half, put Darius Osei through to make it 4-1 on 69 minutes.
Next up for the first team is a trip to the University of Bath, where they take part in a training camp and travel to Salisbury FC for their next pre-season friendly on Wednesday, July 12 (7:45pm KO).
