Manager John Sheridan is expecting another test as his side travel to the Wham Stadium tomorrow (Friday, July 22, 3pm kick off) to face Accrington Stanley.
Sheridan's men take on Stanley as they continue to prepare for the new 2017/18 campaign.
He said: "There is nothing to play for but it’s going to be another test for us against a good footballing side.
"I’d like to start getting results and clean sheets and score goals. Winning and scoring goals brings confidence to the team no matter who you are playing.
"The most important thing for me is that we keep improving and getting players fit. I want to make sure I’ve got a strong squad ready for the first game."
