Club Announces New Disabled Liaison Officer

22 June 2017

The club would like to welcome David Humphries as the new Disabled Liaison Officer.

As part of his role, David will will be the main port of call for all disabled supporters’ queries throughout the season.

Speaking about his new role, David said: “Having two disabled sons, I have learnt quite a bit about disability access at various stadiums up and down the country and what is moving to improve things for disabled supporters.

“From my point of view, I’d like to bring the latest information available and make sure that everyone’s up to speed on the approach that is being taken by the Football League and government.

“Oldham is pretty good on access at the moment, we’ve got a good amount of high level access spaces compared to most other clubs, but I’d like to make sure we’ve got a consistent approach to policy as well.”

To contact David with any issues regarding disabled supporters, please ring the club on 0161 624 4972 or email enquiries@oldhamathletic.co.uk.
