Midfielder Aidan O’Neill played twice for his Australia under 23 side over the weekend.
The Burnley loanee, who missed Saturday’s game against Sheffield United, featured in the 1-1 draw against Austria whilst they lost 2-0 to Finland.Ryan McLaughlin was an unused substitute for Northern Ireland in their World Cup qualifier win against Norway on Sunday.
Both will now return to Oldham Athletic and are available for Saturday’s game against Southend United.
