Oldham Athletic are delighted to announce that academy player Jack Williams has been called up to the England under 15 national selection camp at St George’s Park.
Williams, who has been with the club since 2015, will join up with the squad on Thuesday, October 26 as part of a two-day training camp.
Academy manager Tony Philliskirk said: "I am really proud and delighted for Jack now that he's been selected for the England U15s national squad.
"This is fantastic for the academy, the club in general and all the youth coaches that have worked with Jack for the last few years.
"For a category three player to gain international recognition is an outstanding achievement, not just for Jack and his family, but for the club as it shows that the philosophy and hard work undertaken throughout the academy continues to reap rewards.
"From all within the academy, we would like to congratulate Jack and his family for this marvellous achievement."
