Join Us In Our Family & Community Stand Tomorrow Afternoon

There is a variety of activities going on in the Family and Community section on Saturday as Oldham Athletic face Charlton Athletic.

It is world literacy week and the club will be celebrating this by having books available to read with bookmarks being given away free of charge. In addition young fans have the opportunity to create their own short story with the winner being picked by the Oldham Athletic players. The players have been supporting literacy week recently.

NBC Environment will be bringing along their birds of prey and will be available both pre-match and during half-time.

Fresh fruit will be available from the tuck shop alongside the hot food options which includes a kids meal deal option.

As usual Chaddy The Owl will be around the stand, if you see him be sure to ask for a picture.

For Saturday’s game Oldham Athletic would like to welcome William Stockford and Theo Andrew who will be the Oldham Athletic mascot for the day. Ahead of the day let’s find out some more information on the mascot:

Saturday’s bench buddy is Keevi Byrne who has been selected from the OACT summer holiday club.

JD Williams Team Of The Week

Corpus Rocs and Heyside Angels will be the JD Williams Team Of The Week. They will be on the pitch at half-time so give them a wave if you see them.

Oldham Athletic Academy Bucket Collection

Representatives from the Oldham Athletic Academy were collecting prior to the Wigan Athletic fixture – in total they raised £314.17, thank you to everyone who donated.

Oldham Athletic Girls & Womens F.C will be collected prior to the Charlton Athletic game to help raise funds for travel to tournaments and with purchasing new equipment.

Street Jammers

The Street Jammers senior team will be performing on the pitch for the first time this season. The group have been working hard over the summer in preparation for the game.
