Oldham Athletic’s latest signing Mohamed Maouche is looking forward to experiencing English football.
The French midfielder has signed a two year deal at the club.
“I’m very happy and very excited to begin a new challenge with Oldham Athletic.” Maouche said.
“I’ve played for the last two season in Ligue 2 in France and before that I played in Switzerland but I came from the academy of St Etienne.
“I have played well in the last two years but the past is behind me now and I’m looking to improve myself here at Oldham.
“I think [to play in England] is a dream for a a lot of players, I have never been here before so it’s a big challenge and I hope to show good things to the fans.
“In League One there are some famous teams who have played in the Premier League so it’s a tough division.”
The midfielder also described his style of play: “I think I’m a technical player, I love to do the last pass to my striker and the wingers, maybe a playmaker.
“I like to score like everyone but most important is to work and put my strikers in the best position.”
