Newsquest Media has announced today the launch of a new weekly newspaper for Oldham. The Oldham Times will be available for sale from Thursday, September 21, priced at 80p.
It comes three weeks after the closure of the Oldham Evening Chronicle, a daily newspaper which ceased publication on August 31st after over 160 years of publishing.
First and foremost, The Oldham Times will provide news, sport, and comment on the local community. It will also feature a Weekend leisure guide and a free 7-Day TV guide, and platforms for local advertisers.
