Oldham Athletic will welcome three former players to Boundary Park tomorrow afternoon for the game against Gillingham.
We will be joined by Simon Stainrod, Andy Barlow and Clyde Wijnhard who will give a guest speech in the Broadway Suite prior to kick off.
Stainrod, a popular striker, netted 21 goals in 69 games for Latics between 1979 and 1980 whilst Barlow served Latics for 11 years and was a key figure in their most successful period.
Striker Wijnhard netted 10 goals for Latics in a two year spell.
Owner Abdallah Lemsagam said: “We are trying to bring the history back to the football club.
“We don’t forget the things people do in the past and that’s why we want to get them back here to make sure they are still part of the family.
“We need to connect the fans with our present and our past and create that family feel.”
