Oldham Athletic AFC can confirm a 27-year-old male has received a two-year banning order from the club following his actions against Rochdale last night.
The supporter encroached onto the field of play during the 34th minute of the game following the decision to award a penalty to Rochdale.
The supporter has admitted his shame and apologised to the club, however, we condemn his actions in the strongest possible terms and have made this swift decision.
The club will not be commenting further.
