Owner Abdallah Lemsagam is urging fans to show their support to the club this evening for the game against Southend United.
Latics know a win will take them at least three points clear of the relegation places and the owner hopes supporters will turn out in their numbers and create a great atmosphere this evening.
He said: “We really need the support from our fans tonight in what is a big game for the club.
“We need the fans to recreate the atmospheres from recent away games and be the 12th man this evening.
“I know how much it means to supporters and I share that passion as well. Nothing makes me prouder to see the fans give the team a lift and see the celebrations when we score.
