Oldham Athletic travel to AFC Wimbledon this weekend knowing a win will take them above their relegation rivals.
Latics head into the game unbeaten in five games but know they need to turn draws into wins.
Latics have won one of those five games and have drawn their last four games.
After beating Blackpool, draws against Oxford United, Walsall, Gillingham and Rochdale followed as the points tally continues to tick over.
Athletic have kept clean sheets in their last two away fixtures, however, have drawn both games 0-0.
Second year scholar Tom Hamer has stepped up to the plate and featured twice in both those goalless draws.
AFC Wimbledon have hit good form which has seen them accelerate away from the relegation places.
They have picked up seven points from their last three games, beating Charlton Athletic and Walsall as well as drawing with high-flying Scunthorpe United.
It is a big game at the Cherry Records Stadium tomorrow afternoon as both sides need the points to move clear of the relegation places.
Speaking ahead of the game, manager Richie Wellens said: “When I spoke after the Wigan match I said this game isn’t going to decide where we’re going to be this season, the Wimbledon away match and the two home games will define where we’re going to be next season.
“For my mindset it’s easy because we know what we’ve got to do but what I don’t want is people worrying about it.
“The games are few and far between now and every game goes past it’s another week by and another game ticked off.
“If we get three points at Wimbledon it will put us in a better position.
“I’m going to get some pace into the team, away from home I want some counter attacking speed and hopefully we’ll create a lot of chances.”
Oldham Athletic have been priced at 5/2 to claim the three points tomorrow afternoon whilst the hosts can be found at 23/20. The draw is 12/5.
