Manager Frankie Bunn relishing the trip to Forest Green Rovers on Saturday.
After beginning life with a narrow defeat to MK Dons, Bunn believes that Forest Green will prove to be a tough side.
“We've watched them they look a good footballing team and we've got to go there, stick to our game plan and hopefully come away with something.” Bunn said.
Although he admits he still doesn’t know what his side can prepare for specifically in League Two.
“I don't know really because I don't know what to expect from League Two” he exclaimed.
“I think you've got to cope with all sorts you know. I don't know how many teams will try and play I don't know how many teams will play direct, but you've got to cope with all sorts of football and we'll be ready Saturday.”
Forest Green are coming into the game off the back of a 4-1 win away at Grimsby Town on the opening day and Bunn was optimistic that Oldham will have more of the squad to use.
“We've still got a few on the treatment table, they'll be assessed tomorrow and hopefully we'll have a few back.”
Bunn was again full of praise for the Oldham Athletic fans, as over 1,000 supporters will be travelling down to Nailsworth this Saturday afternoon.
“People have mentioned the away support, I've seen it, I've witnessed it and it doesn't surprise me that we've sold so many tickets, so it'll be great to see them there Saturday.”
Latics face Forest Green Rovers at The New Lawn this Saturday, August 11, at 3pm.
