Lang Raring To Go

17 August 2018

New loan signing Callum Lang can’t wait to get started with his new teammates after signing until January from Wigan Athletic.

Lang spent last season on loan at Morecambe FC and hopes his experience will stand him good stead whilst at Boundary Park.

“Yeah it’s great to get it all done, and I can't wait to get started and get back playing in the league.” Lang said.

“Obviously it’s a physical league and I think it took me a bit of a while to get used to the physical side but once I got some games under my belt I provided goals for Morecambe.”

Lang scored 10 goals during the 2017/18 campaign and he is hoping to continue the good form he showed which helped The Shrimps avoid relegation.

“I enjoyed my time massively and it was a great learning experience for me but, I definitely want to kick on now for Oldham.”

He describes himself as a forward-thinking player who will be hoping to score goals and contribute to the team as much as he can.

“I've worked hard over pre-season and I'm ready to play straight away and work.

“I'm a hard-working player and hopefully I can show that to the fans.”
