Darren England will be the man in charge of Saturday’s game with Bury at Boundary Park.
So far this season the referee has issued 71 yellow cards and three red cards in 20 games.
England officiated one Oldham Athletic fixture last season which was the 1-1 with Walsall back in April.
He will be assisted by Billy Smallwood and Robert Merchant, whilst Nick Hopton will be the fourth official.
