Paul Marsden will be the man in charge of Saturday’s game with Port Vale at Vale Park.
So far this season the referee has issued 44 yellow cards and two red cards in 19 games.
Marsden has never officiated an Oldham Athletic fixture before and is refereeing in the Football League for the first time this season.
He will be assisted by Hristo Karaivanov and Joe Simpson, whilst Craig Taylor will be the fourth official.
