Oldham Athletic’s latest signing Zeus de la Paz is looking forward to the upcoming challenges of League One football.
The goalkeeper has signed an 18 month contract subject to his registration being cleared.
On the move, the 22-year-old said: “I’m happy to be here, I trialled around a month ago and that went well and I’m really happy to sign.
“I’ve played in the Conference North, the level was a bit lower there, I’m really expecting the level to be high in League One.
“I know we’re not doing too well in the table but I think we can do good things, I’ve seen a good squad when I’ve trained so I’m really happy to be here.
“I’ve seen Johny Placide play and I’ve seen him train so I’ve seen the quality he has and I’m really looking forward to challenging him and challenging myself to beat him.
“I want to get in the squad, I want to beat Johny, It’ll take whatever I’ve got but I want to do it.”
