Oldham Athletic are delighted to announce the loan signing of Preston midfielder Ben Pringle, subject to his registration being cleared.
The 28-year-old has joined the club until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.
Pringle spent part of his youth career with West Brom before being released at the age of 18.
After spells with Newcastle Blue Star, Morpeth Town and Ilkeston Town, Pringle joined Derby County in 2009.
After 20 appearances for the Rams, the midfielder signed for Rotherham United on a permanent basis.
He helped them rise from League Two to the Championship in a four-year spell where he made 147 appearances for the Millers, scoring 19 goals.
A move to Championship side Fulham followed in 2015 but after only making 15 appearances, he was loaned out to Ipswich Town.
At the start of the 2016/17 season, Pringle signed for Preston North End for an undisclosed fee and has gone on to make 14 appearances.
