Striker Duckens Nazon hopes to get the Oldham Athletic crowd off their feet as it was announced earlier he had signed on loan until the end of the season.
Nazon, who is a Haiti international, recently spent time on loan with Coventry City and is keen to show the fans at Oldham Athletic what he can do.
He said: “I just want to score some goals and make some assists and just enjoy my football.
“I’m powerful, I’m fast and in front of goal I’m a killer so I will show this to the people.”
“I’m very happy to sign here because it is a League One club. I was in League Two for the first half of the season but I’m happy to go higher.
“I’m ready to play with this team and hopefully I’m going to score some goals.
“The first objective here is to stay in League One and I know a couple of players here as well so I’m happy to be here.
The striker has spoken a number of times with manager Richie Wellens. “I spoke to him this morning and spoke to him on the phone a couple of times,” he said.
“He is a good guy and we will see what happens during the second half of the season.”
