This evening’s game against Ashton United will allow new manager Frankie Bunn the first chance to see his squad in action.
Bunn has been at the helm for just under a month now and will have the chance to assess his squad ahead of the upcoming Sky Bet League Two campaign.
New signings Johan Branger-Engone and Sam Graham are expected to feature tonight as well as returning fans favourite Jose Baxter.
The forward returned to the football club during the close season and supporters attending tonight’s game will see him back in Latics blue.
This evening’s game will also feature a number of trialists who are hoping to impress manager Bunn and assistant boss Andy Rhodes and earn a contract with the club.
The game takes place at Hurst Cross, 7.45pm kick off.
