Oldham Athletic travel to the Tameside Stadium to face Curzon Ashton tomorrow afternoon (Saturday, July 14, 3pm kick off).
Manager Frankie Bunn took a first look at his side on Tuesday night as they took on National League North side Ashton United.
Captain Peter Clarke put Athletic ahead in the first five minutes before further goals from a trialist and Jose Baxter put Latics three goals ahead.
Ashton United did pull a goal back in the final moments from the penalty spot but Latics recorded a 1-3 victory in their first pre-season outing.
New signings Johan Branger and Sam Graham featured for 60 minutes on Tuesday night whilst Baxter played the second half and netted in an impressive display.
Following Aaron Holloway’s departure to Shrewsbury Town, Latics added to their squad with the signing of Christopher Missilou.
Missilou featured as the number 17 against Ashton United on Tuesday night and is expected to be in the squad for tomorrow’s game against Curzon Ashton.
A number of trialists will again feature tomorrow afternoon and they will be hoping to impress manager Bunn and assistant boss Andy Rhodes.
